Mother

Like a sun glowing through the day,
Like a bird guiding the way,

A soul that shows the life a way,
A love that never goes away,

Relic of God’s mercy on earth,
Yet a man knows not her worth,

Out in the world, facing defeat,
He goes to her, in his retreat,

Yet again he forsakes her,
The horrors of world lead him to her,

From the cradle to his ripe age,
She guides him in every age,

O the poet of the hymn,
Pay heed before it’s time,

Crying before the headstone,
Regretting for having a heart of stone,

NED Diaries

In the beginning (1 st year) I was like a machine gun that continuously fired words that were beyond the comprehension of people. I had few friends as most people avoided me. In the second year I gained some control over my words, though not completely and I started to make some friends. In the third year I almost became a celebrity, as most of the class discovered my talent and I gathered yet another bunch of friends. The third year was the best year in the university life, we had lots of fun and most importantly I discovered Fatima, though I did not have enough courage to talk to her.
